User use to work for a hosting company by the name of Byteania. With his job he was provided 2 dedicated servers in return of his work - the user used these dedicates to split them up into numerous VPS servers which he went around small servers offering a VPS free of charge and with no pay required - I had gotten reports from other server owners that the user had wiped their access to their VPS and had taken their files. However this user provided one of the servers I worked for a VPS - On one account the user left the discord and we lost all access to our VPS, and a day or 2 later after trying to get in contact he had claimed the vps we was using had reset - meaning we lost all progress and files within - he then provided us with a new VPS - we used this VPS for a good week or so - then he disappeared again, this time finding out he had been removed from the hosting company by one of the management members.
