I am not sure how this was unfair treatment? I refunded the client and tried to contact the freelancer to find out why they left, however, they were no longer in a mutual server and could not receive the message.

This user posted an inaccurate rep, of which you can see evidence of. The rep should be edited to the truth which is that they felt they were sent on their way without explanation of which I have apologized for.
