Q: What is the difference between physical and virtual crate keys?
A: Physical crate keys are items which the player can hold in their inventory. In this case, MaximusCrates uses tripwire hooks as physical crate keys. While unique, these can be duped if you do not have an anti duplication plugin on your server. Therefore, it is recommended you use virtual keys. In this type of key, the plugin stores data in a config file. These are IMMPOSSIBLE to duplicate and are one of the primary factors which make MaximusCrates so robust.

Q: How to create a new crate?
A: First fill up a chest with everything you want the crate to have. Now, look at the chest and execute /maximuscrates setup <crateName>. Now, go the place you want your players to be able to open this crate. Now, look at any block you want your crate to be and execute /maximuscrates new <crateName>. When players click this block, that crate will open. That's it. No config files, no coding. However, if you wish to add lore or modify anything later, go to the plugin folder then crates folder and click on the crate file you want to edit. It's 100% human readable and cross-version compatible

Q: How to give player crate key?
A: Use /maximuscrates givekey <player> <crateName> [amount]. Read command section down below for more info.


Commands:
/maximuscrates setup <crateName>: Use this command to set up a new crate. Replace <crateName> with the name of the crate you want to create. Make sure to look at a chest block while using this command.

/maximuscrates new <crateName>: This command creates a new crate at the block you're looking at. Replace <crateName> with the name of the crate you want to create.

/maximuscrates givekey <player> <crateName> [amount]: Use this command to give a player keys for a specific crate. Replace <player> with the player's name, <crateName> with the name of the crate, and optionally specify [amount] to indicate how many keys to give (default is 1).

/maximuscrates keyall <crateName> [amount]: Use this command to give all online players keys for a specific crate. Replace <crateName> with the name of the crate, and optionally specify [amount] to indicate how many keys to give (default is 1).

/maximuscrates reload: This command reloads plugin configurations and language settings.


Permission: maximuscrates.admin is required to perform any of these commands. I have intentionally kept only one permission for minimalism. If you need more permissions please join our discord and and I will give you a custom copy of the resource for you free of charge.

Placeholders:
%maximuscrates_keys_<cratename>% - Shows player how many crate keys he has for a specific crate. Only works when virtual keys is enabled.
