About:
Nicolas's TFA Attachment Vendor takes advantage of the in-depth attachment system created by the popular TFA weapons base and builds on it the ability for server administrators to create prices for these attachments, and provide them to buy through an interactive vendor. This not only acts to add an incentive for earning money and playing on the server, but also as a side effect it manages to provide protection for potential abuse- as a lot of these attachments may cause more damage than the base weapon they're on.
Features:
1 - All that needs to be done for an attachment to be sold through the add-on, is first to make sure you have RDV.ATTACHMENTS.CFG.Debug set to true in your sh_config.lua file that was provided with the addon install. If it's not, you will not be able to access the menu.
2 - Once you've ensured everything is correct, now just find some weapon packs that have some of these attachments provided, usually they'll be prefixed with "[AT]" for attachments and listed on the workshop for download. Add them to your servers content pack, and restart your server.
3 - Loading in and visiting the spawn menu, you'll find your newly added weapons. Spawn them in, equip them, and press "C" to activate your context menu. From here, you'll see all the attachments that are provided with the weapon.
4 - Start with one, clicking on it will open a menu, asking for some simple information like a name, description, price, etc. Some of this information will be prefilled for you if it is available. If not, just fill it out yourself to whatever you'd like and press "Save Configuration".
5 - With this done, you're set! That's literally all there is to it, it's just rinse and repeat from here to setup the rest of your weapon attachments that you'd like to sell.
