Just a few red flags that caught my eye:
I await to hear your response to all of these questions
- No resource monitoring, meaning you may overselling
- Hard drives in 2020?
- an i7-6700k isn't a great CPU. It's rather old and not the most competitive when pebble offers an i9 for just 13% more (which much better other specs)
- You supposedly have over 50 clients split between 2 nodes. Is that possible without cramming? (especially for the sub par CPU)
- Realms is a term coined by microsoft. I'm not sure exactly how your SEO works
Just what I've tough its an oversell, and not more than that.
Hello! We have been open 8 months, and no we don’t have 50 customers, we have sold 300 orders over 8 months. Most packages sold are the cheapest ones meaning it’s not cramped.
We have 2 nodes as of now as the servers are not getting full up, when they do more server will be ordered.
If we over cramped our servers then everyone would be experiencing lag, etc, all our customers are happy and had no problems.
We use Hard Drives because people want bigger Space however can’t afford SSD.
we are targeting people that can’t afford to spend Top Dollar on game servers.
Realms also is not registered by Microsoft which everyone gets confused by. It’s called Minecraft Realms - Not Realms.
Our customer base is about 40 a month. On two nodes no as we have a split between Germany and US so it’s about 20 each side - Like I say with the lowest packages, and maybe 5 with the highest so we are not cramming.
We are soon releasing better spec servers for people that can afford them, ssd’s, better processors etc.[DOUBLEPOST=1609011394][/DOUBLEPOST]
About your first response.
No hosting company is licensed to sell FiveM Servers. Apart from zap. FiveM can’t force companies not to sell this is because of it being open sourced.
FiveM can only block IPs which anyone can change.
FiveM don’t go any further because of it being a Modified Version of GTA 5 which is a TOS breach of Rockstar themselves.
As rockstar Quotes “single player mods are allowed, but mods that affect multiplayer may be subject to legal action.”
So they can’t force companies not to sell.
Anyone that owned FiveM servers are breaching TOS of FiveM. Most city owners take funds and put them in their pockets. Paying for developers is against TOS etc etc.
We are not the only ones, most hosting companies sell FiveM[DOUBLEPOST=1609013423][/DOUBLEPOST]Also Pebble Host are using Xeon Processors not i9s
In all honesty, I really dislike that answer as there are just so many things wrong with it.
- You say you can't afford SSDs, that immediately knocks you out of the completive ring as a hard drive will seriously bottleneck performance and in all honesty, most people don't care as to the reason why; they just want good hardware.
- As for FiveM selling, yes, that is 100% against TOS.
- Alongside you claiming that Pebble don't use I9s and they use Xeons; You are correct in saying they use xeons in both their premium and budget plans. But in their premium plans, they use the powerful 2288G chip which has a near identical IPC to a 9900k.
This hosting business is throwing off a million red flags. I wouldn't recommend buying from them at all...

the 9900k is not 18% more powerful than the 6700k. It is several times more powerful in both efficiency, clock speed and core count...When did i say we couldn't afford SSD's i said we are using HDD because people want bigger space for lower price.
We can afford SSD's and like i said we are getting them soon. This is a budget hosting for people.
Also like i said we are soon getting SSD's for people that can afford to spend a bit more $$.
https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/realmshosting.com
That is our trust pilot. We have had over 200 orders and most people are satisfied - Apart from the ones that constantly want 3rd party script support such as me editing scripts for them for FiveM When its not my job.[DOUBLEPOST=1609027768][/DOUBLEPOST]
This was what we said because people want bigger Space however can’t afford SSD. I clearly said people want bigger HDD Space but cant afford to buy 100gb on SSD that is what is implying for people that want cheap hosting[DOUBLEPOST=1609028357][/DOUBLEPOST]
Also if you do your research the i9 9900k is only 18% more powerful than the i7 6700k - So for budget hosting the i7 6700K Is great!

Some benchmarks are more useful than others. sites like cpuboss, gpuboss, passmark, and cpu-world do not provide an accurate picture of the performance you are going to see from the hardware they compare. ... When you are looking at benchmarks, you should look for comparisons that run actual games on comparable systems.
That is userbenchmark.com, what about other sites like CPUBenchmark.net? (https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/Intel-i9-9900K-vs-Intel-i7-6700K/3334vs2565 Single thread score of 2978 for 9900K, 6700K is 2526.) Or GeekBench (https://browser.geekbench.com/processor-benchmarks i9-9900k is 1321, and i7-6700K is 1141) Also, you should probably go with SSD + HDD if you really need the HDD (SSD to store the actual server on, and a HDD to store backups), and your website layout is kinda confusing, other than that, you are okay (kinda pricy though.)
Wait so this guys joins yesterday and says ”best hosting” smells alt..[DOUBLEPOST=1609158002][/DOUBLEPOST]Also the feature are kind of funny,
”We had a few errors to begin with but the Founder of the company worked quickly to resolve these issue”
And arent you the one that edits the site ?
