Hello everyone, I am Hextora and I am here to propose an idea to the fair community of Minecraft Market. I am here requesting help on a project I have been thinking of creating for a while. I have been a fan of the Harry Potter movie series for quite a long time, so I figured why not try to make something that no one has been able to achieve? A Roleplay Minecraft server that has a client that you can speak through nearby players, just like proximity chat. You can start your journey by receiving your acceptance letter to Hogwarts and you can start to design your name. The only possible way to connect to the Minecraft server is to connect via the Hextora client. This client will have a built-in proximity chat mod that will grant you access to communicate with nearby players, that being the train to Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, Hogwarts itself, anything. Of course we are in communication with Warner Bros Licensing Team to negotiate terms and look further to determine whether or not we can pay the license fees and get our server published without landing us a copyright infringement lawsuit. Many users on this site will just lightly skim through the post, but for those who read through, thank you. I have not yet started on this project as I do not have the team required to start this project. I am looking for quite a bit employees to assist me in constructing this game server. First, I am looking for another owner to help me create this server via managing files, being completely aware of general server knowledge, and managing staff members, hiring developers, etc. Next, I am looking into hiring around three managers to do as well the same amount as the two owners do, but less stressful. The last but not least, I am looking for a few system admins to help optimize the performance and do what any system admin would do. Positions that are available are listed below. The server I am looking forward to creating is an open-world RPG server where you can help defeat the dark wizards, become a dark wizard, becoming a good wizard, creating shops, trying quidditch tryouts, etc. Basically, this server is a whole general idea of Hogwarts into Minecraft. I know that Hogwarts Legacy is coming out this next year, but the game could also be a letdown for many fans which is where I come in. Hopefully, I’ll be able to release it earlier than Hogwarts Legacy. I am looking for an owner to invest money, time, and effort into the server to help me achieve what I am looking for.
I am looking for voluntary developers that will work hard and will create certain plugins for the server and will be given a certain cut on release. No config developers are required, just Java development is needed.
