the reason I went AMD is because I think it can beat out the I3 for the price with the I3 only having 2 cores and the AMD having 8. Also this allowed me to fit a 960 GFX card in [DOUBLEPOST=1462310298][/DOUBLEPOST]if u have some extra money you can go Intel CPU

trust me, with modern games you want at least an i5 or equivalent. as someone who uses an i3 and gets trouble with things like borderlands and Ds1, I strongly recommend an i5 or equivalent.

trust me, with modern games you want at least an i5 or equivalent. as someone who uses an i3 and gets trouble with things like borderlands and Ds1, I strongly recommend an i5 or equivalent.

I have an i5 on my old laptop (intel hd graphics card, screen broke) Its the i5-5500, do you recommend taking that out of my old laptop and putting it in my PC?

that depends on the compatibility with the motherboard, and if the old i5 is as good as the new i3 or similar. I wouldn't know, I have an old i3 .
