$750 Advertising budget, how and where to spend it?

Hello everyone! My name is Ryan (rtribe13) and as you can see above I currently have $750 to advertise my server, however I am not quite sure how to spend it.

The server is a customized 1.8 Factions serer (Yes I know ew factions how gross, please refrain from posting anything regarding the gamemode, I know it is saturated) We currently have a playerbase of 3-8 players during school times, peaking at around 12 every weekday, up to 20-30 on weekends. I would like to increase this to around 50 players average online or more. I believe my budget should be able to do this, however if not I can settle for lower.

Any tips fellow server owners?

If I where you save up 1k - 1.2k and pay Zexy to do a vid on your server you will get a 60+ avg and a ton of donators just ask AaronL98 he did it

At this point I need to get my playerbase larger, otherwise the server will probably die :/

This does not work for all people. Aaron got a little lucky, because his server has allot to offer. With a factions server, a series is almost required because otherwise players will leave when the youtuber leaves.

ExodusNetwork yea true with factions it would not work much but because a lot of people will hop on and play and donate you will have enought money to upgrade server and many people,will stay.

I have been looking for youtubers and have been messaging smaller ones with no luck sadly.

I've msg'd about 30 YouTubers over the past month or two that average 25k to 100k subs, and basically saying 'name your price'.
Not a single one has responded...

Sadly the YouTubers I have been able to get in contact with have bailed, tried to scam me, charge WAY more than what they're worth, or treat me like I'm lesser than them since they have a few thousand subs and make about $4 a year from Ad revenue.

So personally, I'd say stay away from YouTubers, because imo, they're all lazy fucks.

I'd go for Twitch Channels, or Server List Slots.

Twitch Channels have almost a %100 turn around rate (meaning NONE of the players will stay on your server once the streamer leaves.)
However, I've heard that Twitch viewers are 10x more likely to "donate" buy something from your store.

Server List Slots are close to the same, but much more likely to have player stick around. But expensiveeeee!

Just a tip for anybody, don't get SGC or BigMacNation. I got them both, didn't really do much at all.

Also previously yes this was an issue, however by working through us we've developed a method of which to help make the videos much more profitable for the clients. We also work with servers to devise exactly how they should perform in the video and in our experience with these two youtubers clients have done quite well. It's all in the planning!
