Looks pretty good!
Except try to make the lines less jagged (pixelated in a way). I believe you just have to create a larger canvas or something with the DPI

And it doesn't look like the guy with the axe is actually holding it. Looks like it's glued on.

good point, I hadn't noticed that.
This is my quick remake of that character:

Since the pose is "both hands swinging the axe", I put the axe between the two hands
