Aside from Minecraft I have also had experience running communities on other games which I will go into briefly before listing my Minecraft experiences.
Runescape- For About 4 years I managed to maintain and own a Runescape clan of around 300 members before I decided to take a long break from the game back in 2015. I have Since returned to the game but haven't returned to Managing a clan again on Runescape as I felt that the community aspect of the game had somewhat shifted direction since I last played. During my time as a Runescape clan owner I was able to host events and resolve any issues which occurred, as well as grow the clan and keep it self sufficient during my tenure. Unfortunately I have again decided to distance myself from the game as I feel it is heading in a direction I am not comfortable with.
Xbox- Aside from my passion for playing Runescape in my younger years, I was also fortunate enough to socialise and connect with alot of xbox gamers. At the age of 13 I managed a small team of around 25 like-minded individuals who were passionate about Call of Duty. By the age of 15 this had grown to over 100 members. We began a YouTube channel specifically for Call of Duty, as well as hosted Livestreams & Managed Social accounts linked with our team. Due to YouTube changing their systems we unfortunately lost our old channel and had to make a new one, however by that time as a team we were now all in our 20's and felt that Call of Duty had lost it's appeal.
Minecraft- I began looking for alternative ways in which I could benefit communities, and thus turned my attention to Minecraft. I had played the console version of the game as well as survival servers via Localhost with friends (No plugins), so my quest to help individuals and met new people began. The first server in which I staffed on was PrimeMc. At the time the server was Managed by Junnk (Former Community Manager) and my stint as Helper within the server saw him wanting to promote me to Moderator. I was however at the time going through some personal issues with a sick family member so subsequently resigned later that year. I later returned as a Helper under their new (Another Former Manager) FoxyRobin, and again had a successful stint as Helper.
My first Major role within their Network was when I was given the role of Consultant by their old Head Developer FakeNeth & Server Owner Trkey. My role was to catalog community feedback for the Developers for content they wanted to see and also bug test & again relay that information back to the Devs. This saw me collate several documents which subsequently helped iron out tons of bugs, and help implement player feedback into the server.
After their Manager was let go by Prime, I was given the opportunity to become an Administrator under another one of their Community Manager MistaGojo. Only this time I was working with the staff team more and had more responsibilities. My first job within my Administration role was to revamp many staff documents and to also streamline alot of staff process that were outdated within the Network. This led me to create a new handbook for the network, new-common punishments (Forums & In-game), implement a Limited Forum access user account to Xenforo, Briefly introduce screen-sharing to the network, and become more hands on with event organizing & hacked client related topics.
*Update 12/01/2018*
I have since moved on from PrimeMc due to disagreeing with a few things. Although I did try and stay I felt I couldn't work within that environment anymore. I did not leave on a bad note with the Owner and feel that I made a lasting impact within the community of this network.
After I left PrimeMc I briefly began to help setup FakeNeths new server until they were able to find a permanent Community Manager, this included helping to setup their Xenforo and also edit the styling properties of their website to a dark theme.
