This was back in early August so it may have changed, however I've talked to this user before and after a couple of days he says this:

Just a note for anyone that might be looking to apply, if I'm wrong OP then just say "there is immediete payment", that's all people care about around here.

I don't see the point of you posting this here, but I will answer your question.

There is NO immediate payment, but you will be paid in different ways. That message was also from a month ago, and things have changed. Payment is to be discussed privately.

Put that in your thread then instead of talking to people for a while and then wasting their time, something like no immediate payment means that you're not technically paying and the user doing the job for you won't get paid, and this can go under the "free" section of this subforum.

Just trying to stop other developers from wasting their time, apologies if you don't like me sharing my experiences, I just know that 99.9% of developers on here will not work for possible payment.

This is not a "free" job. I am not "not technically paying", because we do pay.

They are not wasting their time; in case you didn't see what I wrote, "PAYMENT WILL BE DISCUSSED VIA PMs".

This user then adds false negative reputation onto me.

I was never "very very rude", in fact, I apologised to you for any inconvinience caused. I was just helping other developers so they do not waste their time.

I was also not unprofessional, the whole time I was talking to you on skype I was gracious and was not rude, even though you wasted two days of my time in negotiations, only to find out you're not paying developers until release.

I have full knowledge on what I'm talking about DrCookie as I have dealt with you, hell, I didn't even leave negative feedback after you wasted my time!

Let this show as an exact example of the level of maturity in this user, if you were having trouble getting users to help you now as you're not paying them, you sure as hell will have a harder time now, you've made your bed, lay in it.

Your false reputation will also be removed, I'll also link back to this thread for further evidence.

Don't expect to get the hardest part of making your server unique for free, every other user on this site has to pay for it, what's so special about you? That's the way things work, I won't be replying to this afterwards as I feel like I have made my point.

Funny how you would take the time to write all of that, kudos to you.

Let me start off by saying that a) I DO pay, I don't understand what's so hard about you understanding that and b) I sincerely think about you in that way, hence my reputation. Am I not allowed to have my opinion of you?.

There is absolutely nothing "special about me", for the umpteenth time, get it into your head, we DO pay Developers just not UPFRONT immediately.

Please do not continue trashing this thread, I do not want to have to deal with this nonsense.

If I add you on discord and we discuss what Is that you're looking for and we spend minutes talking about the server, mini games, plugins and i ask you how much will i get paid. If you tell me something like 'You'll get paid from donations on release'. You've basically wasted my time and other developers time. I always notice how users who don't plan on paying developers or plan on paying them from donations never mention that in their thread.

I shouldn't have to. People shouldn't have to ask "how do you plan on paying developers". That should on the thread.

Each Developer gets assigned certain tasks, there is no fixed payment. If I ask a Developer to create a simple plugin do you think I should pay another Developer who is creating a large-scale one the same amount of money? Which I why I said payment is to be discussed privately.

Please do not say things which you have no knowledge about whatsoever.

I do not wish to continue this argument with either of you, have a great day ahead.

Are you paying per month, per week, per hour? If so, how much? Are you paying by donations? It's not too hard... The payment should be set, it shouldn't vary.

It does vary as it depends on how much, and the type of work you do. Like I mentioned before, if I had a set payment it would be unfair to many people.

We are not paying by donations.

Why are you being so dense? It's not hard to give an estimate of what you will be paying depending on the size and complexity of the plugin you will ask to get made. Something like this:

• Small plugins (few commands, couple features, easy to make): ~$5-50

• Medium plugins (adds a core aspect to the server, some complexity, small minigames): ~$50-150

• Large plugins (cores, complex minigames, new gamemodes): ~$150-500
