There's been a recent rise in the amount of people that are exit scamming with bitcoin.

At least 5 people have been banned this month alone for actions related to exit scamming with bitcoin (a few are Bourbon, Bazi, Flopped, eLevate)

Jackie Boy has been scammed 3 times in a row for $500 deals each when he has attempted to purchase bitcoin this month, so you can see that it's pretty bad.

Today eLevate was banned for ban evading "Bourbon", who scammed with bitcoin earlier this month, plus yesterday his discord scammed a lot of people in his exchange server. He claims that he was compromised, which doesn't make sense since they'd have to have his email to do so, meaning that his MCM should've been hacked as well (when he was "compromised" yesterday).

After eLevate was banned he made an alt and started replying to his exchange thread. He said this in one of the posts after I questioned how he managed to get a old MCM account to appear more legit:

If he knew how to hack an MCM account, don't you think that he'd be able to protect his own discord/email from being compromised? It doesn't add up.

Anyway, that means there's people going around hacking older MCM accounts to randomly open bitcoin exchanges to scam people. They may do a few legit deals at first, but when they get a large amount they'll exit scam.

If an older account randomly opens a bitcoin exchange, then it's highly likely that they've been hacked, and it's a ban evading user. Make sure that you use a middleman if you do decide to deal with them for whatever reason, and don't listen to any of the excuses they make to try to get out of using one.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.
