Have you tried taking it out and placing it back in? Could be a loose connection.
Let me give a shot.[DOUBLEPOST=1458952651][/DOUBLEPOST]

Completely took out, cleaned, put back in, tightened, started back up and same problem.

Ok, well I'm not really too sure. Reseating the ram wouldn't hurt either. I would suggest you ensure that you have the latest drivers and then contact nvidia, or post on a more PC specialised forum as they shall know much more regarding this issue in comparison to all of us on here.

Good luck :D
Thanks man, really appreciate the help!

No not at all, 40% max. Right now, my McAfee is taking up like 60% of my CPU. No clue why.

Nope
Deinstall McAfee.

Deinstall McAfee.

Immediately do that, McAfee comes with alot of bloatware and background processes that chew through CPU and Memory space. As for your issue, I get it every now and again Most times I find that the RAM allocated to minecraft(in my case 4GB) is being used by another process so Minecraft is running out of space. If you hit f3 and look in the top right it will tell you how much Is being used, For example if you have the generic 512mb of ram it will say 102/512 and the number will keep going up until Minecraft runs out of memory.

As for everyone else saying Factory reset comp and whatever, Dont do that. The factory reset wouldnt fix any of the issues other than Wiping you HDD and still leaving "Ghost" files. If it was a virus most cases they would be coded to hid in folders not getting wiped.

If the problem persists I would post on a Forum like Toms Hardware for More information - Its one of the most trusted for Computer things like this.

Reinstalling drivers is always a Good idea also.

Best of Luck, Ritz
