Custom Player Join Message

Hey guys&gals,

I was just wondering if any of you know of a plugin that lets you edit the client-side join message for NEW players on first join ONLY.

Surely over the multiple years of minecraft a dev would of made it by now

when you join a server and it displays the motd whatever you set it to be, not the 'player has joined the server' the stuff underneath it.
Usually its welcome to <server> please vote and like our page etc.
I want one to say welcome please read the rules, welcome book etc. but only for new players as obviously i dont want to tell everyone who joins the server to do that

Do you mean in the chat " Ac3dUd3 has joined the server " Instead of " Ac3dUd3 joined the game"

Or do you mean something else?

Deluxe Chat, Its a premium plugin, Allows 2 prefixes etc. Highly recommend it over essentials, if you need a config for it i have one in my resource in my signature.

Looks cool, may check it out when I get back into server setups...

Essentials does have a section for this, without using EssentialsChat, but if this doesn't work, you can also use a plugin such as HideStream which can do two options;
1.) Hide it in all
2.) Add a custom message like " Hello <USERNAME>, Welcome back to <SERVERNAME>. Make sure to /vote!" and such.

Hope this helped.

I think he means the "First" time you join so when I join the server it says "Suh dood welcome for the first time" then after that it says welcome back do /vote .
