Moderator/Admin:
I have worked in Minecraft staffing for around 3 years, I spent most of my time on MCPVP where in 2014 I was promoted to Mod+ on their hunger games servers. Due to this I was able to learn a lot very quickly about hackers and spotting hackers. Whilst owning my own server I learned a lot about dealing with issues and thus no situation is much of a problem to be dealt with. Everyone gets a say in a matter regardless of the issue at hand.
Community Manager
As a community manager my position will be to make sure that the community itself is stable and everyone is enjoying themselves. With former experience on Prison servers where most of the community tends to be young I've found myself to be able to cater to every age and Nationality of people in a very specific way to make sure everyone always enjoys their stay.
Forum Administrator
This is where my experience shines the most. Since 2004 I've always been around in forums and enjoy the community they supply. My experience shows the most as currently I work for HLTV.org as a full-time forum administrator. As mentioned before HLTV is the biggest Counter-Strike community to date and has an active 700,000+ users daily.
Servers I won't work for
- Dead servers
- I'm not trying to be cruel, but if there is nothing to staff I don't wish to be staff there.
- Highly expectant servers
- You need to remember I'm a full time worker and I'm in education, I can't be on every hour of every day but I try to manage my time wisely.
- Shady servers
- This could be a long shot posting on MCM but I have worked for many shady companies and due to experience if you (the owner) partakes in shady activity whilst I work there e.g DDoS I will resign immediately.
Send me a message if you want to work with me!
Regards,
Dan.
