People can report your site, I think Xenforo try take action against it then.

No updates (unless you want to find an update personally for each and every time Xenforo releases one - this will take time as well as leave your site open for security risks as Xenforo actually publishes which security leaks they have fixed in each update and thus people will have a better idea of how to do that on your site).

As well as the fact, like Yeti said, that people can report your site although I'm not sure if Xenforo do take action against it - at least not for a small time server or anything like that that can't afford Xenforo in the first place.[DOUBLEPOST=1450630972,1450630939][/DOUBLEPOST]
Can it limit the number of users on the site?
No, in practise it works just like a normal xenforo license does.

I don't people would care if it's for an mc server, but the risk of getting it taken down may not be as bad as the risk of viruses/back doors.

Disadvantages:
1) Always a risk of your site being taken down (never seen it happen, but there's a chance)
2) You don't get updates from XenForo
3) You can't get any add-ons or themes from XenForo as well unless they are also nulled or someone sends you the files.
4) People look down upon it

Advantages:
1) Free

If you have any more questions let me know.
I don't really recommend using a nulled version but that's up to you and your free will.

When you buy a xenforo license, all that happens is:
A) They give you a small place to type in your website (You can change it later if you want
B) They send you constant updates

You don't need to transfer any files (unless you want to update the forums), all you do is type in your domain.
