So, I'm bored and really want to buy myself a new toy :p

I've narrowed it down pretty much between a Phantom 3 drone or a decent 3D printer in the same price range.

I think the drone would be fun to play with and I live in an area that is really pretty so I could really do some nice photography. However, on the other hand, a 3D printer would be awesome because I could make stuff. Soooo hard to decide. Help me decide guys :D

I have a 3D printer and personally it wasn't worth the buy. A really good drone can be fun to play with and if it has a camera you can use it for photography too.

Just my opinion.

What 3D printer do you have? Did you buy it on a whim, or did you actually have a plan to print out something specific?[DOUBLEPOST=1449962054,1449961983][/DOUBLEPOST]
How about you buy a drone, sell your cinematic photos and buy a 3D printer. #UnflawwedLogic

It's not about money. I could buy both. It's about time wasted. Right now I just don't have a whole lot of funsie time and I feel if I bought them both I'd never be productive again :p

Drones have so many laws..
That, and they're quite tricky to fly. If its above wind force 3, only the best drones are still somewhat controllable. I've been waiting for an opportunity to fly my own drone on a field outside the city, but it hasn't been dry for long enough, and its wind force 6 or so outside

I would personally get a 3D printer as you can make anything, phone cases, computer keys, air soft guns, keys, phone holders, you name it.

I got a phantom 3, and it's dope as fuck.

I'm also working with my school's librarian on creating community printing software... and 3d printing is boring af.
