Hello MC-Market, my name is Cole and I am starting up a new Minecraft Server.
I am looking for a bunch of Staff Members that have good experience and are hard workers.

The Server is called Empire Factions. But soon it will be going into a network with a bunch of game modes. I am currently looking for spots. Now, builders, graphic designers, and developers will be awarded with payments in the future. Currently I do not have enough money to hire them. I am striding to make a good server that will have a good player base.

Let me Explain some of the positions:

Community Manager:

The community manager is in charge of the fan base. They stride to make the players as happy as they can be, on the forums, and in-game.

Moderator:

The Moderator is in charge of making sure that the players are safe from hackers. They are also responsible for making sure that the chat is clean.

Staff Manager:

Staff Manager is basically an Admin who is in-charge of all of the Moderators. The staff manager makes sure that they are not being abusive and making sure that they are not being off task. The staff manager will also be in charge of recruiting staff members.

Admins:

Admins makes sure everything is running smoothly on the server. They are basically a moderator with more permissions and are not able to play.

Builder:

Builders will build Spawns, KOTHs and various amount of builds. They will be paid in the future for their efforts once the server generates money.

Developer:

Developers will make custom plugins that will be exclusive to Empire. They must have experience coding with Java and Minecraft plugins.

Experience: I recently was community and staff manager at AspirePvP, previously known as MineCleave network. I had been working for that network for about three years, but it shut down yesterday. I had around 2k forum posts and was relatively active. I got close to a lot of the staff whom I recruited, and they referred to me as their friend. I can show you a letter one of the people I recruited wrote (see below). I've also been staff at several other servers, including McsPvP, and FramePvP.

Why: I love interacting with people, and getting to know new people. I'm professional at most times, so the recruitment process will follow a protocol and I will get to know them as a person.

To the community,

I suppose this is the end of the line for me.. These past six months have been awesome, and no words could possibly describe how grateful I am for being given the opportunity to be on the staff team for this long. However, everything must come to an end. Let this not be a time of grieving, but a new phase for the server. I'm not saying that me leaving is a big deal, but that changes are coming to the server. Having being removed from the staff team, all of the old staff blood is gone, and this brings opportunity. The old ideals are gone, and there is room to grow.

My time here has come to an abrupt end, being demoted without warning. I do not wish to be put on the team again, nor do I wish that there be any action taken against any staff member who has allegedly abused the powers given to them. I am simply going to explain to the community what happened, and will only present the facts. After the facts, I will state my personal opinion, and will clearly separate the facts and opinions, to keep this as precise as possible.

The Facts

First, I believe that the community must understand what I do in the real world. Allow me to introduce myself, if you've never met me before. My name is Panda, a now former Server Admin. I am currently a sophomore in high school, and am very active in my school. I have played trumpet in the marching band for two years now, and I am on the robotics team. As far as academics go, I am taking all honors and AP(higher than honors) classes. My hobbies/interests include: economics, science, computers, networking, programming, and the military. With all this being said, it is quite obvious that I am extremely busy.

This leads me to my next topic, my inactivity. The community should note that, before August, I informed the entire staff team that I was going to be inactive. I did the professional thing to do, and offered my resignation. They wanted me to stay, so I did. I tried to work out my schedule to fit in more minecraft time, and it worked, for a while... Once school started, I was once again bombed with loads of work. To top the cake off, I have long, after-school marching band practices very often. Now, when I had a free day with absolutely nothing on my agenda, I hopped online. It seemed fine, until Whisky and Husky informed me that I had been demoted. They said that GalaxyHD had gotten on the night before, and asked who was good staff. Whisky replied "Husky", and eventually, Husky received a promotion. As a consequence, I was demoted. This raises multiple questions, which I believe that I am entitled an answer to. More on this later.

Incredibly Conservative Opinions(I'm joking..)

1.) With Whisky's recent offense with griefing on child's server, I now understand the whole staff team's thought process. His actions made it clear to me, that he is not as professional as I once thought. Moreover, I now know that you can expect this kind of behavior from future staff, if the administration isn't careful. The issue lies in the staff application process. It is so easy to get staff, that the wrong people are being chosen. I am obviously not at liberty to say who I believe is the wrong person for the job, but I think it's inherently obvious who the problem-people are. Whisky's unjustified actions have brought disgrace to the staff team, and the server as a whole, and left a bad taste in my mouth as I left the team. A person can say that they are sorry all they want, but it is not until they prove their feelings, that the truth is revealed. To sum it up, if you appoint immature children to the staff team individually, your entire team will be immature, together.

2.) As to my demotion, I have but one concern. It was brought to my attention that GalaxyHD was the person who demoted me, someone who doesn't even know who I am. To be blatantly honest, I'm not even sure if he/she knew of my school activities/work. However, that is aside the point. I informed the people in charge of me, and that is that. Personally, I do not think that someone brand new to the staff team should have any authority to demote a long-time staff member. There are claims that GalaxyHD is an ancient member on the server, but other sources tell me that he/she is just a friend of Boss. In any case, GalaxyHD has displayed misconduct, and has no right to make the actions that he/she made. Further, this displays the lack of leadership in both Whisky, and Galaxy. It is in the server's best interest, that PvPDog/Boss choose real leaders from now on. I've been doing this for around four years, I know what I'm talking about. Choose people who will lead by example, and not people who are power-hungry. Bad choices will lead to corruption.


Farewell

I'd like to say thank you to everyone who I have worked with, and to the community. You all have made this my home, but I'm moving on now. If I could, I would thank every single person who has made an impact on me here, but there'd just be too many. Below, I will list the most influential people on Minecleave. If you don't get on the list, please don't be offended.

Lastly, I feel that it is necessary to mention what I was working on while I was 'inactive'. Behind the scenes, I was working on a few projects, which included an economic reform, shop/vote/donation balancing, and a few other more complicated topics which I won't get into detail right now. As I have been demoted, I suppose the projects will go with me to the grave. If PvPDog is interested, I could share them with him, but they are a bit intricate.. By all means, if you want them, take them.

This is it... My thread is over, and I'll be gone for quite a long time now. If I get some free time, I'll pop in here and there. It's been an honor serving the community, and I've had a blast being here. Now, I will formally resign from the staff team, and bid you all farewell. Until we meet again, may you achieve excellence in whatever you choose to endeavor.

I hope we cross paths again, and when we do, I want to hear about how successful this network has become! I can't wait until we get to work together again, one day. Thank you so much for being a huge inspiration for me to work harder, and just go for it. I salute you for your service.

iWhisky - James, although I am rather disappointed in your recent offense(s), my respect for you has been preserved. Yes, you have some things to improve on. However, you're one of the best staff members on the team. I expect great things out of you, and to learn from your mistakes. Hold yourself to the honor that past staff has, and you will succeed. Also, thank you for being my right-hand man for so long. Just keep working on it, and great things will happen! When I return, I better see a tag on you, and it better not be disappointing!!

Husky - Husky, you've been here almost as long as I have. Although I do not agree with the way I was demoted, I can sleep well knowing that my position is in good hands. As I told Whisky, please hold yourself to the same level of honor that past staff members have, and you will succeed. You, too, have some things to work on, but you can learn anything. I couldn't have been an admin without your and Whisky's help, so I will forever be in debt to you two.

Infamous - Infamous, I don't know if you'll ever read this, but if you do, I hope you are doing well. You were one of the hardest working, dedicated, and loyal co-workers that I've ever seen. When we made that pact, we stuck to it. I know you're going to far in life, and we want to hear about it! If you do read this, let us know how you're doing man! Thank you for being such an awesome guy to work with.

Why:
I just want to socialize with people. I aim towards covering up their little mistakes, like mistakes that can really piss people off sometimes. For example, when a staff member starts complaining about the server's hit detection. As being this position I would obviously have to have a talk with them and all complaints especially staff complaining should always go towards the server owner or developer. I normally do server setups, coding and stuff and Im quite a good builder but I honestly just want to work for a server for free lol, I really have no idea why but sometimes I just have these times when I wanna help out servers.
You might think, "Oh, it's just another guy wanting op", nah; I just want to socialize and help out I honestly do not care about op as that's very low class. I am also very chatty with things and I do not go crazy and start making a scene in chat I am more of a go with the flow guy.
