The thumbnails should take up the whole box, not leaving black lines down the side. As for the video, just use some cuts and effects to cut out some of the boring bits, that will come with time when you find what people like and they don't. Apart from that the mic quality and video quality it's self seems more than fine for a video.

Just keep it up and you'll see slow growth!
