Getting DDOS Threatening

So 2 weeks ago I made this deal where I would buy a server for 75$.. Of course I got scammed and he also has my ip because I joined it..

Then today I wanted to see if he had anything to say and he is ddos threating me... He did ddos me for 1 hour when I got scammed.. But I cannot do anything



If you have a look at the pictures he is saying that if I do chargeback he will ddos me for 1 month.. But when I left the server he said that I HAVE to buy a rank on his server or else he will ddos me...

Is there a way for me to protect the ddos attacks? :/

Dont pay him, chargeback, and then call your ISP and ask them to change your IP? Or tell him u were on a VPN or something

He will not believe me and I will try...

He's probably lying, don't sweat it dude.

Buy a new router, call ISP to see if you are static or dynamic. Setting up proxies if thats a thing if possible. a months worth while of a boot is bullshit in all honesty.

Well, the good part of that threat is, that it was done in an online game. After doing more research, I've found out that he's only 14 and has done immature acts before (also gets banned a lot for hacking/annoying people in chat). I don't know if you can count this as proof, but he's more than likely using some kind of "web stresser", or what ever they're called nowdays.

Don't worry, he probably won't be able to ddos you even for longer than an hour, if he was able to, he would have done it.

Also, by any chance do you know if your ip is static dynamic? Because if it's dynamic, it changes overtime, so you won't have to worry.

Just to be sure, call your ISP and ask them to change your IP and don't deal with that boy ever again.

He did not ddos you for 1 hour... that is for sure he might have ddosed you for around 15 mins and your internet wouldn't turn back on ... secondly CHARGEBACK everything! he cannot DDOS you for chargeback and if he is telling you to buy something on the server he is making a big mistake because its a criminal offence and you or your internet could sue him for $10000+ easily also if you have his ip I would be more than happy ddos him for days

Just call and change you ip

As others have said, it's unlikely he's got a private botnet, he's probably renting a booter. This means there's gonna be a point where the money runs out (especially if your chargebacks succeed). He simply won't be able to afford DDoS'ing you anymore.
