Hi guys,

Most of you know that i'm into politics, etc, and I wanted to take something that I have a stance on, but want to form more of an opinion/reasoning on. That issue is gun restriction laws.

Here's what I have so far: It's ridiculous that an american (mostly) can't walk around carrying marijuana, but can walk around with a gun. It just doesn't really make practical sense in modern society. I know i don't feel safe when some random hillbilly is carrying a pistol in his back pocket while walking his dog... Why not just get rid of guns?... Or try anyways.

Take away the second amendment then what will be taken away next? The first?

Nah restrictions won't do anything... You think the people who actually shoot people are going to go "yeah you know what, I'll give up my gun, I'm breaking the law". Nah, should've done what Australia did and restrict them before it got out of hand.

England has a strict gun law. Unlike America. I think having a gud is a bit OTT. There's something called 999/911. If no one had guns no one would need to defend them selves from guns.

Okay here's how it works. If good people want guns, they can't have them. If bad people want guns, they buy them from smugglers who don't care about laws and thus all out chaos. Once again, look at Hitler in Nazi Germany.

Fair enough, but ideally would you like all civilians incapable of having guns? If it was possible?

(I believe a country can be determined as good or bad based on ideals)

Also regarding the amendment, Gun Laws are unquestionable outdated, and so long as the general population agrees with near enough anything, it will change. (As seen throughout history.)

There should be a background test and mental health eval, but as far as things like open carry of long rifles, that's fine. I mean they even make veterans take courses in order to get a concealed carry, like they have years of experience xD
