How does the hypixel network booster work?

How does the hypixel network booster work? I am wondering since someone used a booster on blitz.

Ok i didn't see that but how does it give every player 3x coins? Does it have to connect to the server?

Code wise, I would assume it works like most donator perks giving the player who purchased the booster permission to use the /booster command, in this case I believe players can store up a number of uses for this command, then whenever a player activates the booster, all players will recieve 3x coins.

So when a player recieves a coin, the server/plugin will check if any boosters are currently active (activated by any player)

This is ofc just how I would assume it works, any particular reason why you want to know? You looking to get a plugin similar to this?

Interesting. The reason i want to know this is because of my curiosity and how these things work.
