Hello. I ordered some pizza from Pizza Hut a few hours ago and I was just wondering how much you guys usually tip pizza delivery people. I tipped $6.

I tip big for anything, for some reason. I think my last tip was around 8$ for some pizza.

I tell them if they arrive by 'x' time they earn 'x' amount in the delivery notes. Every 5min past that time they lose $1 off the tip.

They work on minimum wage + have to use their own car so... it's respectful to tip attest $2..
They get payed for how many miles they drive with their car + giving money to anybody for anything is nice..

Funny because I used to work minimum wage and have my own car and earn no tips. Wait... that's almost all minimum wage jobs.

Pizza delivery, for instance, I typically tip (no pun intended) around $5.00.

However, when I dine out, I like to tip 20% minimum, yet if a waiter/waitress goes beyond my expectations I find myself tipping close to 25-30% of the bill.

Imo they shouldn't get salty if you don't tip because they chose to apply there :p

Tips don't really apply to where you work, just the general public. If someone doesn't tip you, you should get salty as it is just common curtesy to do so.

But think of it like this.. You don't have to tip if you don't want to.

Most of the time for the pizza being cold, late, etc.. It's not even the drivers fault. So that's why I tip $3. It's 20% so.
