Okay, so recently someone has been impersonating me on Skype. Funny thing is as you may know I don't use Skype (If I did, I'd tell people my username)

Anyway this guy impersonated ew with "ewitsew." notice the dot and now he's using "doge.mcm" to impersonate me. The IPs both match. Also, many others here have been impersonated by *username*.mcm as well.

Fortunately Tres PM'd me and was able to avoid a scam. However someone else was not as fortunate so that's why I'm making this post. http://www.mc-market.org/threads/41744/

tl;dr I don't have a skype, so obviously it won't be me. If you are unsure, always PM me.

I have someone who's impersonating me too.. Except it's a bit harder to notice because all they did was add a period to the end of my Skype username (real one is "nodus_v2).

And all he's trying to do is trick people into "buying" my plugin LOLLL

laysmechanics Though it makes you feel popular, it kinda sucks in my opinion.

I'm not the kind of person to feel upset about a lot of things, but seeing that people can get scammed by a scumbag and that they could not have known that they were misdirected makes me feel upset. Best thing we can do is just tell people about it when we post my Skype somewhere.

Standard business protocol should be asking the other person to message you on mcm before anything happens.

This is fake, I checked IP's of Doge's imposter and it does not match CombatLog's IP. I also checked "EWITSEW." And the IP's don't match. The only IP's that match are CombatLog's and Ew.MCM

Yeah, just realized it wasn't CombatLog but it was someone else who impersonated me then.

Just a heads up for anyone;
If someone adds you on Skype under my alias, be sure to PM me on here for confirmation the account is indeed mine and it's not an impersonator. I would feel guilty if someone got scammed under my name.
