Hey, I'm calling out to the programming developers out there :)!

Is there any possible way you could make a program that tracks what server a player is on/what server a player last played on, and the time, I want to find a litterally long lost irl friend and the only possible way to do that is through a program like this. If you were to make this how much would it cost?

Thanks for reading

I don't think its a thing..
it would be awesome though.

I've seen a server list which shows whos on the server,
maybe if minecraftservers.org kept track of the players on a server, and stored them in a database or whatever... you could search it to see where a player was last found :p wouldn't be the best, as it wont work with 50% of servers... but it would be pretty cool. ;)

( I um... might have saw this on another server list, but forgot what it was )
I was up until 4am trying to find a program that did this :<

It can be made, the way I was saying, if a server list kept track of the players... but no server list does this yet... and they would have to have their server posted on the list, with query enabled or whatever....

best bet would be if minecraftservers.org or planetminecraft did it... they both are pretty large.

There is a website that tracks players but forgot what it was called.

Honestly, this will be truly impossible without installing software. There are a few tracking systems already out, but they depend on something else whether it be a plugin on the server or something else.

I think my idea with the server list, and the queried players...

it would store the players in a database, which can be searched to see what server they were last shown on.

OMG, Lets contact mojang about this idea, They could possibly add a certain program to UUID's which allow them to be tracked

It's completely possible; however, every server would have to install the software.
If we were to contact mojang developers and they were to persay listen to my idea, then if we had the right web developer we could make a website for this.

I am allow pretty sure that queries can be modified and can also be shown as blank.
Yeah, but by default it only sends the first few players. People can modify it to whatever they like so it would be pointless since a lot of servers send news so that players can see it when they hover over the status in their server list.

ever see servers on planetminecraft. that show the players online?
I think mcservers.org does something like this too..

If it stored those players online in a database.. and remembered where each player was at.
Yes it does.
But there isnt a feature to tell what server was/is online last
