As far as I know, he has not claimed to have built this, so if he is the buyer of the map, all he needs to do is prove that he has the right to resell. I don't know about the creator of this, but I always include in the terms of my sales whether or not the buyer has the right to resell, in a way that the buyer can prove it. That would be the best option here, OP.

I'm a little bit confused by the thread you showed. It does not include your current account anywhere, nor did I see any post specifically stating the buyer will have reselling rights.

In fact, the seller in that thread has since been banned, which makes it worth less as proof of ownership. Is that user in that thread you? that's the only explanation I can come up with on short notice.

No, I have proof of the TannerLittle user granting me permission to resell in skype logs on my laptop, the linked thread shows the original builder giving TannerLittle the rights. I will post skype logs when I get on my laptop tonight.
