We need a low quality posts section.
We all have those moments where there's an inside joke you just have to get out....
Someone said something in shoutbox and you have to tease them with a thread...
You want to have a picture stream of duck memes and crocs....
Lighthearted humor such as this is a place I'd like to spend my free time.
And as many times as I might say, "Screw it, it's worth it" and take a warning point for a low quality post.... .. . (Once) I'm not a bad boy.
I'd much rather there be a legitimate place for it.
I know the reasons for not having this.
Message farming, rating farming...
Ratings are easily disabled in subforums. (e.g giveaways)
I'm not sure if message counting can be disabled?...
That would be ideal.
But if not...
Oh well...
Nobody looks at your messages to judge your reputation anyways.
In fact, if you have a much higher message / rating ratio... You're seen as a scrub.
It's unfavorable, and people even have their stats reset because of it.
If people want to ruin their ratios for low quality posts, that's their problem.
This will give people who don't have anything valuable to say a place to say it...
So they don't flood the categorized forums with their shit.
And people that don't want to see it, don't ever have to go there... Poof, gone.
If I've missed some crucial issue with this, please do point it out.
