Normally I would just send PM about this but from my experience Ajdin replies rarely, at least to me (even if i need help with paypal chargeback) About 1st part of this i asked other staff members and it seems all advertising/sticky thread things are being handled only by BeBosny so...

...I would like to point out two things.

1st - I must say i'm always trying to report treads which are posted in wrong forum section but if person who posted it does purchase advertisement for it (sticky thread) then sometimes this thread gets sticked before mod moves it to correct section. In the past few months this has happened 2 times in 'Builds' section (i don't follow much to other forum sections) ...and if thread is sticked then apparently it's impossible to move it. It doesn't matter what's thread content and where you have posted it...as long as you pay for it?

In this case i believe person who 'sticks' threads doesn't look at threads content or section where it's posted... :/

2nd - Rules clearly states there can be only 5 sticked threads per forum and the rest will be placed in queue but as we all can see in 'Builds' section there are now 6 sticky threads.

In case it mysteriously changes here are the screenshots:

Rules for sticky threads can be found here: http://www.mc-market.org/advertising/

Quoting rules: "There are a maximum of 5 stickied threads per forum, which means that the forum will never be saturated by dozens of stickied threads" Sure...

I understand this might seem like not a big deal and i agree...partially. But I somehow feel that community needs/opinion is slowly taking second position. The same thing happened when Premium members started to get adds (newer members will not remember this) No proper announcement, no nothing. Some people even noticed that rules still stated 'add free' not 'adsence free' but this got changed quickly... and only thread we had with screenshots and many people opinions/poll was deleted by staff. Everything was suppressed and quietly forgotten.

I would like to point out that this is not any kind of 'hate' thread...I have been with MCM for a very long time and i'm worried about where we are going..."Pay to win?"

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I used to be a big deal on here but now irrelevant

The only reason why there are 6 stickies in some sections is because we had a bug where payments with tax wouldn't process in the forum.

Let's give you some context.

4 slots taken. Member1 buys slot, member is located within EU so tax applies. Xenforo gets a note from PayPal that x has been received. Xenforo sees that it doesn't match the expected amount so it doesn't approve the payment.

Member2 who doesn't live in EU has it's payment instantly processed so member2 gets the spot.

Now member1 contacts me a day later telling the sticky hasn't been activated. I manually activate it and tadaa.

This bug has been fixed now so it shouldn't occur anymore.

As for me not responding to PM's. As my autoresponder states, bump it every 48 hours. I'm sometimes busy and check MCM on my phone quickly. I sometimes am not able to process refunds for safety reasons (being on a public network).

I'm glad to hear that it was just a technical issue... but there is one more thing i mentioned.
