MCM JukeBox // Music for everyone!!

Hello MCM I've been on some sites and I saw this thing called " JukeBox " bassicly people pay money so they play a song for the entire site. Maybe McM should have that. Maybe MCM should add a jukebox that you put a link of a youtube song and it gets played.


How it works:
Member purchase MCM Box Coins.
Member inserts coin in the jokebox and adds a youtube URL for the song and it gets played for everyone on the site. Of course we will need some staff to mentor the songs played.
After a user plays a song he will get a 30 minutes cooldown so he plays another one.
Also members can mute the jukebox if they get annoyed or do not like the song.

JukeBox Rules:
1. No racist music.
2. English Music only.
3. Your not allowed to play the song twice.
4. Members can only play a song that has the max duration of 5 minutes.
If these rules get broken user gets refunded.

Well I assume it would be possible to query the length of a song before it's accepted, and set a max-length so nothing can be submitted if it's longer than a certain time.

I have a few suggestions for the idea. The music only plays for people who click in settings to turn it on and there is just a large selection of music to pick from. I'd love to be able to put any song... but people on here would ruin it so fast. So that can't happen sadly even with staff trying to prevent it, it'd still happen and piss people off.

Or possible just make something like plug dj and just allow people to chill on there but only premium+ can chat/suggest music that way there is another reason to buy premium and at the same time its adding something fun for the entire community. Url for it could be like mc-market.org/music so ez af for people to remember and go to.

People who join the site for the first time will have it auto enabled but then users get a setting to disable it. Also staff can prevent it it's easy for them if McM agrees with the idea.

No, if this idea was ever added people would need to select it otherwise -1 and staff barely have enough time to handle stuff as is so no lets not make more work for them.

Select it is a good idea, and if your thinking about staff not handling it are you aware that McM makes money from this?
If this works out it would be a better way for mcm to get money and will make the community a more fun place.

Like Zap said, I think it should be along the lines of Plug.DJ
So music is put on by donaters, but the music - There's only a choice, for the first 1 week maybe 30 songs to choose, then it will grow as the staff add more.
And there will be a customized link www.mc-market.org/music where donors can talk, put music in a queue e,t,c
And supreme's maybe get to skip 3 positions ahead? That kind of stuff, it will be cool to have + it will make people want to donate

I can see this being abused frequently and I doubt any of the mods are going to want to deal with monitoring every song as we already have many reports and support requests to handle daily.

It might be annyoing for you but this brings more income to mcm and that income will make mcm a better place.
