I'm System. I run MineSaga, a newly formed Skyblock network played by various large content creators, such as CreepersEdge and VintageBeef. Our team has owned and operated networks that have peaked over 2,000 users.
We have huge plans which will hopefully take in place over the next few months, however, in order to scale up and take on our plan, we need more people on our team! We're looking to take on one or two experienced Java developers to help us create content, and launch more servers.
Positions
We've currently got one open position, however, if we feel like you're a strong candidate, we may be inclined to hire more than one individual. We will be keeping all resumes that we deem good, yet don't hire, on reserve for future job opportunities.
Plugin Developer
This role would consist of you developing our plugins based off of a document brief. The plugins could be something utility based, content updates, or generally anything.
If you cannot sign or get co-signed a contractors agreement and NDA, please do not apply.
The requirements are as follows:
- A high understanding of Java and naming conventions (min. 2 years)
- Minimum of 1-year experience with the Bukkit API
- Experience with MySQL
- Good communication and timekeeping skills
- Understand how to use Git and Maven properly
- Able to follow our code structure and requirements
- Able to communicate via Telegram and Discord
- Able to work 15+ hours weekly
Payment and Contact
We pay on a per-project basis. Projects can range in price depending on the scale and can go anywhere from $20 to over $500. Payments are sent after completion of a project via PayPal.
Our deadlines are strict. We usually give our developers 1 - 2 weeks to finish assigned projects, depending on the scale, however, this could vary depending on the size and importance of the project
