GJ said:Hello, there is a blocked name "Tavon" that I would like to be unblocked. It is my real name, and I see no reason for it to be blocked. There are plenty of other people such as "Adam" "Cory" and many other names that are not blocked, so it is strange for "Tavon" to be blocked. If you could either change my current name to Tavon, or notify me of when it has been unblocked that would be much appreciated.
Mojang said:Hi Carl,
The name Tavon is not blocked, it is registered to an account already and therefore not available. Please also note, using third party sites to see if a name is available is also not reliable.

GJ said:https://minecraft.net/haspaid.jsp?user=Tavon is showing as false, but with every other account name that is not available it says true. I'm pretty sure it's blocked.

No we do not provide this information. If you have any questions on any other matter, feel free to ask, otherwise this case is closed.

GJ said:I don't see a reason why I cannot be told the UUID. There is nothing that I could do with it that would hurt anything. There is an api somewhere to find it, as there are multiple sites that can get it. Every one that I have tried however, does not show Tavon as being a valid name. https://minecraft.net/haspaid.jsp?user=Tavon shows as false. I am not believing you that this name is a valid account. If it does, I would like some sort of proof. If something that mojang has made public isn't showing what you are telling me, I don't see why what you are saying is valid. If it is an actual account, but is non premium, then it should have been deleted and made available for name changes. Also, may I ask how long you have been working at mojang? Usually the employees that have been working there for longer are actually helpful.
After this, no response. I think this is pretty ridiculous for a mojang employee to not give me the UUID, and just thought I'd share.
Marc_IRL is this really how the staff are trained?
