Hey Guys
I just wanted to ask around for some advice on getting a dedicated server, i just need some input for what it the best suited one

Server 1:
32gb DDR3 Ram
AMD Processor (forget what the model is) 2.5ghz 4 core
500gb 15k HDD
For $60

Server 2:
64gb DDR3 Ram
Intel Xeon 1230v3
250gb SSD
For $100

If Anyone can offer me a better deal or point me in the right direction then that would be appreciated :D

Server 2, although the RAM is pretty overkill, Xeon processors are far superior than AMD ones, especially for single core performance.

Edit: Strongly recommend RS, RSNET-Radic I'm on their network and couldn't fault anything. Also, they can provide you with more sensible specs for a cheaper price.

Okay, but i've been through a few different networks and would only suggest RS, they really are a solid company & if you use "Spigot20", I believe you'll get $20 off monthly.

If you want anything close to the specs listed in the thread for under $50 I'd say you go with Kimsufi.
How good quality is the service though from Kimsufi, Price per performance?

Kimsufi is an OVH branch. They offer budget dedicated servers. The DDoS protection is ok but I believe there un managed. Overall there an ok host if your just starting out or have a tight budget.
