Hello, if you are reading this, you are probably getting bullied, or you just happen to come across this because of curiosity. Well, let me tell you about my life story on getting bullied. When I was in first grade, I tried to fit in with everyone. I was really out of shape and did not know how to control my weight. I tried hanging out with the "Cool" kids, but nope that did not happen. They would always exclude me anything that they go to. I was never invited to anything, and I was always just alone at home after school and during the weekends. That carried along to fifth grade because I was in the same school with the same body and the same people. Now, in sixth grade it was finally middle school. I went to a new school, and there were new people. Yup, there were some better people, but there were always those bullies around school campus. They would do their BEST to try to make you feel bad. They would start calling you names just to get attention from other people. They really do not know how you feel on the inside. Now, I am in 7th grade, and there are these bullies at my school. These bullies have caused a negative environment throughout the school. They would always start fights, thinking that it's funny. They would call you name like "fa***t, bi***, etc. See what they don't know, is how much it really hurts it's just that we don't show it. It also ruins their day, and whenever you go back to school the next day having to look at them just makes you sad and scared. Now, I want to write this because I want to show the people that are getting bullied that there are people in the world that do care for you. Lastly, please share this around to anyone you know who is getting bullied or even getting bullied so they know how people that are getting bullied feels. -Joshua

Not sure if this would be a good advice for you but I would suggest you to look for opportunities to take a self defence class. At first it might sound a bit harsh but if you will be dedicated to it and won't give up then it will only benefit you in the future... might also help with weight, will raise confidence, could be an interesting afterclass hobby and who knows you might even find there some more friends in similar situation.
Violence is definitely not the best answer but being able to physically defend yourself will definitely help you in the future...even if it seems impossible right now 2-3 years of dedicated trainings will change that.

Gone through the exact same myself. Throughout my entire primary school, I was bullied, hit, beat and much more by people at school, my only way of getting attention at school was by being bad, so that's what I did. I'm 15 now, and I've been permanently excluded (kicked out) of 2 schools, temporarily removed from one, and left another.

I was kicked out of a primary school, then when secondary school started things just got worse and worse. My first year was hectic at my first school, I got beat up during the induction day, meaning i wasn't even a part of the school yet, I went ahead and joined anyway and started as you would, then after I'd say 2 weeks things got really bad and I couldn't cope, after a few months i turned back to being bad to get attention, I was kicked out after 8 total months at the school and joined another school, I lasted for 2 years (Year 8 + 9) whilst still being bullied, hurt, left out & excluded. It got to the point where the bullies wasn't just kids, oh no the teachers started to. The start of one of the most important years at school, year 10, things got really bad and I started getting really bad depression, I had 3 months out of school and it was one of the happiest times of my life, I moved to a new school back in January, and at the beginning of this month I left, again, due to bullying. I was taken out of school because of my depression and suicidal thoughts, I went into a really lonely, isolated world and straight up wanted to commit suicide. Since i left, things are getting better but depression will stick around for a while by the looks of it. During all this time, my mother was going through life-threatening operations for her disability, cauda equina syndrome. My only escape was/is my computer & gaming, pretty much what makes me happy these days.

I couldn't fight back, the bullies were in groups, I got jumped multiple times, and I escaped bad injuries multiple times.

This is the first time I've shared my story properly, I've not given every fine detail as it'd take hours to write, but I'm sure you get the it. Bullies will ruin your life if you let them, i let them ruin my life because school wouldn't help. I had a bright future ahead of me, now that's all in my hands because I had to leave education because of others. Honestly, don't know what i'm trying to say, but after i read your story I thought i'd share my own.

Remember consistency is key.

REST DAYS: MON, WEDS, SATU
On your rest days you can either rest completely, or alternatively, you can get some light exercise and play sports, go walking, do yoga, practice martial arts… The options are endless. The idea is to avoid any formal working out and especially avoid any heavy lifting that would interfere with recovery.
The only problem with that is that you need a gym membership. If I were him start with something that you can do at home like 20 push ups one day. Next day does 25 etc. If you really want to lose weight I highly suggest getting a membership. Since you just want to start trying with something that you can do at home. If you like it buy a membership

I don't see it as a problem as most 7th graders don't go there anyways. Homegym is decent, but not worth it in the long run. He wants the bullying to stop quick, so this is his best goto scenario.
Losing weight isn't "quick". Also, the best way is to tell someone. If this won't work and you don't care about running from your problems he can always transfer schools. You can always tell your parents if you haven't or if the school won't help you can call the police "Little out of hand but will scare the shit out of them" since bullying is illegal. Again if the school won't help just call your schools district and tell them whats going wrong. They have to fix it and will get the teachers that won't help a strike or something. Not sure how it works in America.

I'm sorry, I did not know this was regarding a weight loss. In that case, running is a really good option and go on the so-called "Warrior" diet.
Oh Im also sorry I thought you knew that. That is very trie

Sorry this happened to you and everyone else that has been bullied. Bullying pisses me off so much. I usually squash bullying as soon as I hear stuff about it at my school.
