Private OGs

Some people post accounts in both private and regular og section, this totally negates the point of the 'private' section. Make it a rule that your thread can be in one or the other but not both.

It is but not in a targeting way, I don't mean to start beef.

I've seen it before and just thought about making the suggestion now. I just don't think the private section is being utilized properly.

Theres still trashing in the private OG section, look at Bea*er and V*.
Messages can just be reported for trashing as well.

Boi, just to clarify what I said in V* ISNT shit posting (not saying you were but you could be talking about me, as I've been shit posting to get from 1,800 msgs to 2k so I could quit MCM ._.) no hate please.


Also, I got to agree one this one, I've seen it before and it defeats the entire point of the section. Thanks KS for suggesting this OP

Just to clarify,
I believe the point of Private OGs is so sellers can sell their high valued accounts to a smaller group of the community which is considered more reputable. This is so they 1. Get Serious Deals and 2. Have a less likely chance of being scammed.
(Correct me if I'm wrong in my belief in what the Private OGs section is for)

If that's the case, posting it in the public section completely negates the whole reason for having a less likely chance of getting scammed. And the only point of it is to show certain buyers really high-value accounts. So essentially more advertising.

I always removed threads that were posted in both sections. The whole point of the Private OG section is so Mojang Employees (which do have accounts here, around 12 total) don’t see accounts being sold (high value ones at least).

Indeed. This is already a policy. If you see someone posting in both sections report the one posted in private OGs and it'll be removed.
