I've seen threads talking about, negative reputation.

I wanted to bring up my opinion of this reputation system...
I feel as if being limited to adding 3 reps a day isn't fair. People go through more than 3 transactions or deals a day and should be free to adding rep for that person being a good sells rep.

Please do not criticize this post, its just a state of opinion.​

wdym "don't criticize" you're basically implying that mcm put the limit in for no reason and you don't want to hear that reason, because it would be a "critique"

I think its pretty important to be waitlisted on rep that way you dont easily get to scam as fast, i.e some kid gives away an action code with intent to scam once reputable

That's why you have staff take a look at the problem, and have them handle it. Doing so, it'll keep this community un-toxic. As toxic as it already is . This will be showing those 'kids' who are scamming out and having more of a chance of being caught.

No, but for real I disagree with this because the 3 reputation a day protects spam reputation. Plus, what's wrong with telling the user "I've maxed out on my reputation, remind me tomorrow!"?

We are all entitled to our own opinions, I just say we should atleast have more than a 3 rep limit. If they scam rep, as I said, this can be reported. It's just as easy to report as easy as it is to say, "Hey, I've reached my limit for today. Remind me tomorrow?" Everything can be resolved easily.

Just because something is just as easy doesn't mean everything that's just as easy to change as well. The reputation system is built on 70% on trust and if we get rid of the 3 reputation limit that's just setting the 70% to 90% and we all know as toxic as this site can get, giving it more trust isn't always the best idea.

I've brought up how toxic this site is, not can be, this site is very toxic. From people being rude, or people scamming, people saying disrespectful things that are not needed. If this community wants something better or to grow they need to start putting in more trust into eachother. I see your point, but maybe if you could see mine as well. It could be easier as when someone surpasses an amount of Positive rep they get an achievement and it unlocks the feature for them to be able to post more positive reputation. Premium members maybe get more too. But this is a matter of how known and trusted on the site now. But I stand stand with my opinion saying we should have atleast more than 3 rep limit.

Trust me, I'm telling you how Mick is going to respond to this. He's definitely not getting rid of the reputation cap because it was added for a reason and my best guess is they don't plan on changing the maximum due to the fact that again 3 is the limit for a reason. Also, giving Premium and Supreme a higher max of reputation is not something this site should turn into. Perks for the ranks should be cosmetic or recommended when getting your name/business out there; they shouldn't be used so you can farm more positive reputation from your friends.
