if I can give you a tip, replace the logs in the material with 17:13 (6-sided spruce), it looks really weird like this. And maybe dial up the amount of grass present, and add a non-grass greenish block, it looks really brown right now.

oh, and if the theme is tropical, maybe set the biome to jungle?

I'd use 50%2,20%159:5,20%159:13,10%35:13 with some sort of grass overlay, that would be better for a tropical colour palette. Or you could just use grass but do //setbiome JUNGLE and overlay it with a combination of grass and flowers C: I personally prefer a more clean look.

well, he decided having random log surface sticking up is what he wants, so that's up to him. a client that doesn't like it can change it with a few commands anyway.

The difference is that this is a handmade map (or made with WE). Because of worldpainter, there's giant maps on here. If you're looking for just plain terrain, you can get good WP maps of 200 or larger.

So just random terrain made with hand or WE won't sell too well on here, regardless of quality. If you want to do well selling things, I recommend you aim at specific things
