Should I learn SEO or Java

I've finished watching all seven seasons of shameless and is time for me to come out of hibernation.

I have decided to become one of those erhhm.. I think they call it "functional members of society." Yeah, one of those.

It's partially about money (sure, everyone likes some extra cash), but I'm not a money hoarder. So, is SEO or Java better for making some money and waiting for Shameless season 8?

SEO, would make you more, but Java would be more consistent

Neither is just something you decide to do on a whim. If you like programming, go for Java. If you like whatever seo is doing, go for that

I know. I've actually been thinking about each for weeks. I really can't decide which I think is going to best.

Also, anyone know if Lynda.com is a good source for learning?
