Hi fellow developer,

Allow me to introduce our network to you.

It's called Exorath and has yet to release to the public. Our vision on server content is that it should be unique, fun to play and of course extremely addictive. We are developing a custom network that aims to completely integrate these attributes.

Our primary concern was to make the development of gamemodes as homogeneous and time-efficient as we could. Developers should focus on game development, not re-implementing code over and over again.

Our solution was to create an all-inclusive GameAPI that manages basically everything. The API in question currently counts about 20k lines distributed over 250 java classes. With other words, we took it serious.

Don't get me wrong, the API is far from finished. But we believe the time has come to put developers on it. On launch the network will consist three minigames and one continuous gamemode. These will be developed with a total capital of 2000 EUR over the course of 2-3 months. We are primarily looking for co-developers to accompany us in this. If you join us you will not only receive very pleasant paycheck but you will also be enrolled in our profit distribution program.

But is this for me?
Your probably tired of having to rewrite that game management system time and time again. We want to give our developers the opportunity to focus completely on game development and not on having to write code you have written before. If you find this appealing I am sure you will have a great time developing with us.

Now as you might understand our standards are not low and that's why we ask a minimum of three years development experience. It also speaks for itself that Spigot/Bukkit experience is mandatory.

If you find yourself qualified for a part time developer position in our network, please contact me via Skype or email.

Kind regards,
Toon Sevrin

Thanks for the great response, I was already able to hire one great developer. Hopefully I will be able to find more of these.

We hope to convert the API methods to interfaces as soon as things are stable and make these publicly accessible, if that's what you mean.

I think it was already done and it died, it was McLoL, Because i wanted to make it myself XD
Thanks for pointing that out but can't find any reference to that project. Seems like they never launched or did a were very poor at publicity.

But if you are saying MOBA's wouldn't work in Minecraft I don't think you are right. The reason we want to implement a MOBA like gamemode is because it has a lot of aspects of popular Minecraft games (pvp, team interaction...).

Oh not saying it isnt a good idea or anything, I was told a while back when i mentioned the idea (about a year and a half ago) that server failed badly.

Is this Minigame Framework going to be open source?
Our developers are allowed to read and modify the source under a non-disclosure agreement.
We will also make the javadocs and API will be publically available but the jar plugin with the implementations of the API won't be.
Would you like it to be open source and useable on different servers?

I will soon start working on a tutorial system so the GameAPI will even be easier to get used to.
