Suggestions for a survival server?

I am looking to start a survival server for stream and myself. Does anyone have any suggestions on what the server should be like?

Plugins?
Website?
Ideas?

Please note that this is not the first time i start a server, i am not a complete noob. Just wanted to know what are somethings that people (you) look for in a survival server. Thanks in advance.
