I've been trying to code with CodeAcademy and W3 for months, but it has no effect. I need an experienced web dev to help me learn HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.

I know most of HTML and CSS, but I have no clue how to use bootstrap. I need to learn design in my sites a swell

Hi Mr. Wonderful!
I have a few years of experience designing with HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. Although I am not sure I would have the time to really teach you, I definitely wouldn't mind helping to answer any questions you might have as you explore pre-existing online resources such as Codecademy, Lynda, and W3Schools. Feel free to reach out to me if you ever do encounter any problems or have any questions, as I would love to assist you in becoming a designer.

Have a great day,
John

I would disagree, Codecademy is a fine educational tool. I used it to learn the foundations of HTML and CSS. I will grant that they don't do the best job of intertwining all the lessons to give an understanding of how to build a complete site. However, I think that overall it can be extremely useful for building a foundation.

Of course, everyone has their preference when it comes to learning, so I would recommend that XD tries out any tool they find and use whatever works best for them.

Have a great day,
John

Well Xilcho I currently never learned ANYTHING from codecademy for their poor teaching, but they are good for basis learning a full language from them is crazy luck if you actually do learn!

As I previously said, I think it tends to differ based on the preference of the learner. I found Codecademy to be extremely useful for learning the basics of design, and I still use it to this day to learn new languages. Whatever works best for the learner is what they should use.
