As any web developer should know, Adobe Flash is dying a slow, painful death. Once it is gone, the ZeroClipboard hack will be pointless since it uses Flash to inject something, such as a Minecraft server IP onto the client's clipboard.

I made this thread for us web developers to discuss clever alternative ways to AUTOMATICALLY inject a server IP onto a client's clipboard on click of a button.

I'm aware you can select the text to be copied on click of the text automatically then prompt the user to copy it manually, but that just forces the user to do an extra step.

http://www.htmlgoodies.com/beyond/javascript/article.php/3458851 just google "click to copy" and look for the non flash based one...

Flash has been dying since early 2000's and now has stopped support by Adobe (they are no longer having it in their products and renamed it to something like Adobe Animation or some shit)

Any good?

Yes, clipboard.js rocks! I've been using clipboard.js for a couple of months actually. I thought it was funny that this was a thread on MCM; kind of a coincidence, haha. It's very simple and takes essentially nothing to load (it's about 2 or 3 kb). Seems perfect for what Croc is looking for.
