Why is this site full of scammers. A few years ago there were almost none but the past 2 days I have gotten scammed out of 70$ which is much if your a teenager(both scam supports already submitted). I’m just dumb founded on how many people are just willing to take other peoples money and run with it, unbelievable.

Both people I got scammed by had over 30+ reps and me having 0 I had to go first

A majority of that money I was using to get PayPal go buy a friend something for his birthday so RIP, it hurts a lot

People have always scammed since ive been here, since m6 went and took a break or whatever scam reports have halted. More ppl scam cause they can go without getting banned for 3/4 weeks, then keep scamming. So rn its kinda an issue with McM not stopped scammers fast enough, which make ppl think scamming is easy money and they wont get punished in a while.

Yeah it’s so dumb how scammers can get away with so many scams in a few weeks and McM wouldn’t do anything about it, just frustrating

I’ve only truly been scammed once on here (a case where I didn’t get my money back.)

Other times i’ve been “scammed”, I’ve gotten the money back one way or another.

It’s best to do some background checks on people that you deal with, and make sure that they’re trustworthy. Paying through Goods and Services is a must. Offer to pay the fee, even. If the seller requests friends and family, they are most likely scamming. There’s no reason other than the 21 day hold on new accounts to use any other method than G&S. And if they can’t verify their account to get rid of the hold, they’re probably scamming too.

I do agree it’s gotten worse though ever since it’s been solely M6 managing scam reports. He’s not doing the best of job. Especially as of lately.

Honestly considers a "coverage" from a site like here as just "icing on the cake". If you are SERIOUS about doing business always run your customers through a professional anti fraud screening system of some sort on services and such.

Then if you want to go the extra mileages try to use gateways that are either "scam proof" like crypto or have charge back protection.

Once it configure properly and going your "scams" should be reduced (you won't get a "100% scam free experience but it should be considerably less overall").
