Interest for video games tend to fade over time, especially when you spend less time playing them. It's pretty much just growing up and taking on responsibilities and spending your time on better things.
The servers themselves, no. But to able to come home from school and play minecraft with people that you met online and not give a care about anything else in the world was a good feeling to have, which you won't be able to have once you've grown up as you have actual responsibilities in life...

I don't see anything wrong with them being in multiple sections, but spamming to make it appear in new posts shouldn't be allowed. Plus, I'm sure it'll only take one post update to notice the team, not 10+. That just makes them seem desperate.
