    I'm not saying it cancels the link message being posted, I mean that it would just say when you last sent a link. Or maybe it only checks for mcmarket domain. Idk. Well, yeah, but it's still a minor inconvenience.

    It depends on the OS the VPS is running, it's quite simple to setup though.

    Use vultr. https://www.vultr.com/ (This is a well known vps hosting service, everyone above is just advertising their product). I like this site because it charges you like by the second, I think? So you can cancel at any time.
