    I would firstly recommend some basic Java and OOP videos, just learning the syntax of Java in general. If you are looking for some more intermediate concepts, I would recommend watching Imtiaz Ahmad. Anything else you should really learn by yourself.

    I have created something like this for a server for my friends to play on, and it linked their discord role (which correlated with minecraft colors) to their ingame display name, and discord -> minecraft -> back chat. This is relatively easy, I'd say around $30
