I have read the EULA. More than most people have. I don't know why you brought up how large servers make money. That's irrelevant to the point I was making.
Because the companies behind software like Photoshop have never told people to stop profiting off their own works. Mojang has stated that you cannot profit off of Minecraft, in any way-shape-or-form, unless you're a YouTuber.

Because you're not allowed to profit from Mojang's product. Clearly stated in their EULA, if I am not mistaken. Of course, you and everyone else ignore it because you feel entitled to monetary gain from something you didn't create.
I quit this game months ago. It got boring. Many other people have as well. Can somebody please tell how and why people continue to play Minecraft? What is so great about this game? Other than that you can unethically and illegally gain commission from a skill in a pixelated video game....
