    Free Vouch Plugins

I made a thread last week offering my services to a network. I think I've found one that I'm very interested in working with and I'm looking to re-familiarise myself with Spigot before starting any work for them.

    Free Vouch Plugins

Just starting to get back into plugin development after a few years and could use the practise. Though I'm a little rusty with Spigot, I'm a professional Java developer and should be capable of doing whatever you require provided you have a detailed enough specification of what you want. Size...

Seems as if the server I began working with fell through - so I'm opening this up again!

Looking to join a Network as a Developer

I'll preface this post by mentioning that I'm not searching for a full-time development role. I'm really just looking to act as a secondary developer and/or consultant. As for my qualifications, I have a CS degree and I'm currently working as a full stack developer with a heavy focus on Java...

Moving further into the development world

I'd say look for open source projects to contribute to. Here's a site displaying Github projects looking for contributors with open issues. It's a great way to explore and get experience with real-world applications.

What should I do about an incooperative, chargeback-threatening client.

It's his responsibility to mention what specific features he wants. However, I'd get into a habit of asking your customers to write up their requirements in the future so this won't happen.

    decypher this! (harder)

Forgot to add that the reason why SHA256 is considered insecure is because of how quickly hashes can be computed. Again, this has nothing to do with collisions, which is what my original reply was referring to.

    decypher this! (harder)

Right, but that has nothing to do with collisions. If you were able to gain sufficient information from a hash to identify the format of the plaintext you could possibly perform a preimage attack, but who in their right mind would use such an algorithm to hash passwords? What you two are...

    decypher this! (harder)

Except there aren't "millions to billions to trillions" of possible SHA256 hashes, there are 2^256 possible hashes. There is no way in hell you're ever going to find an SHA256 collision.

    Upgrade or New

Go for a new PC and reuse only the GPU. You can't reuse the CPU, RAM or Motherboard. You could reuse the hard drive but I strongly suggest you pick up a 250gb+ NVMe drive in addition. If you want a particular build picked out, provide a budget.

Pretty much any widely used language will set you up nicely.

    Building a PC

Most B350s (at least older ones) won't natively support the new Ryzen chips. You'd need a bios update.
