    tbh if that is the case, make sure to install ufw if you have a distro like debian etc.. the default firewall is not handy, i use ufw for that.. Steps: (sudo) apt-get install ufw (sudo) ufw enable then type Y enter make sure to add ufw allow 22 or sudo ufw allow SSH so it doesn't block...
