    So far, all I've gathered from here is: we can suggest to MCM to improve their licensing system, which is an unlikely change, customers are only guaranteed one download of their purchase, authors can change their license without prior warning whenever they wish, affecting current customers...

    Point 1 - definitely. better license management would be beneficial to everyone. Point 2 - in this issue, it isn't valid - the buyer had purchased the resource and it was changed afterwards. at the time of purchase, it was an unlimited license.

    Thank you for the information Majored. It's very unfortunate that this is the case with digital products and thus others' and my own's purchases on this site will be very limited. I can completely agree with ItsSniper's statement that customers need more protection.

    Due to MC-Market rules, it's his resource, and he's allowed to do anything he wants with it license-wise. Therefore, it's up to the buyer to determine if the author is trustworthy or not. I don't think anything can be done about this issue rather than giving customers a longer license period...
