Honestly, if you've got developers familiar with SSG frameworks (e.g. Next.js or Gatsby to name a few React frameworks), you could use Vercel, Netlify or Cloudflare Pages which is completely free for stuff at your scale. I run a few websites at practically zero cost (except for annual domain...
For me, the change in font hugely hurts readability. Segoe UI is very thin without much letter spacing so maybe a slight increase in font sizing or a change to other base fonts like Noto Sans or Helvetica Neue (referencing other forums or text-focused websites like Reddit) would help sort that out.
Why not both? New layout as the default, but could be configurable according to user preference.
(okay I know why not being maintenance overhead but does it actually require custom development)
If you think that's expensive... wait till you see the pricing for other solutions like Invision Community...
It's a very reasonable price imo, especially when their target audience is businesses and hobbyists with genuine incomes.
If you want free ones, NamelessMC and Flarum are good...

Barely anyone reads the terms and conditions and a long list of rules as a new user - ironically I’m VERY sure that you didn’t know all the rules prior to your promotion...

I feel this might be an example of how users feel a bit more 'violated' when warned. Did this really really need points? Or could you have swiped this under the rug with a verbal warning?
I always believed that if it is something that was not intentionally malicious (i.e. if you were...
Hi all,
I'm making a website directory of company blogs discussing tech migrations. e.g. Dropbox moving from Python to Rust or Discord moving from Cassandra to ScyllaDB or Cloudflare moving from Hugo to React Gatsby! It's split up into multiple categories for different audiences (languages...
I cannot believe you still remember that since that was yearssss ago.
Just to defend my dignity, I was trying out a dish called Takoyaki which is a lot more normal than he describes it.
Sure. I’ll expand on that for you.
Service teams both damage your own reputation (not in an MCM stat sense) and the profit margins are not worth it.
It’s very easy to be a shit service team, and very difficult to be a respected one. Ask most established community members, they’ll look down on...
